Satin Flower

Stem to 95 cm tall, unbranched, 2-angled in section. Leaves blue-grey, to 30 cm, 12-20 mm wide. Spathes ovate, concealing the flower stalks. Flowers 10-20, pale yellow veined with brown, 16-20 mm wide; late spring. Segments 13-18 mm long, blunt. Syn. Phaiophleps nigricans (R. Phil.) R.C. Foster.
