Neomarica longifolia (Link & Otto) Sprague

LEAVES to 40 cm long, 1 cm wide. STEM wiry, erect, to 60 cm tall. FLOWERS 5 cm wide, lemon yellow. Outer perianth segments obovate. Inner segments coarsely banded in brown or purple. Style crests prominent, lanceolate.

Brazil .

N. brachypus (Baker) Sprague from Trinidad has leaves 6-8, to 50 cm long. 20-25 mm wide. Stem flattened, to 55 cm long. Flowers few, 7-8 cm wide, outer perianth segments yellow with red-brown banded claws. Style crests prominent, lanceolate.
