Restrepiella ophiocephala (Lindl.) Garay & Dunst.

Small to medium epiphyte. Stems to 20 cm long. Leaves oblong to lanceolate, to 20 cm long, to 4 cm wide, leathery, bright yellowish-green. Flowers 1?many, to 3 cm long, often foul-smelling, dull yellow to cream with purple blotches; winter to spring. Lateral sepals joined at first, separating nearly to base with age. Petals with white fringed margins. Labellum oblong, fleshy, curved under, purplish.
