Perennial erect herb from a short rhizome. Stems to 40 cm, flowers usually solitary in leaf axils. Leaves broadly ovate. Flowers star-like, spreading, to 3 cm wide. Tepals pale-pink; spring. Syn. Kreysigia multiflora in error.
Sometimes grown as a moist or sheltered garden or shade house ornamental in light to heavy shade.
