Don Chinese Catalpa

Deciduous tree to 10 m or so tall. Leaves to about 25 cm long, more or less triangular in outline, sometimes 3-5-lobed, base cordate, tip long-pointed. Flower clusters branched. Flowers whitish, to about 2.5 cm long, the throat with yellow and purple markings. Fruit capsules to 30 cm or so long and about 0.5 cm wide.

China

Relatively small tree. Flowers with yellow throats.
