Salvia verticillata L.

Herbaceous perennial herb to over 0.5 m tall. Leaves variable, ovate to violin-shaped, to 12 cm long, velvety-hairy, tip pointed,margin with a few cuts, stalked. Flowers in whorls of about 10, in spikes 20-40 cm long. Corolla white or lilac, tube to about 1 cm long; summer.
