Gentian Sage

Perennial herb 0.5-1 m tall, sometimes treated as an annual. Leaves mostly more or less ovate,mostly 4 cm long, 2 cm wide,margin with a few cuts, hairy, stalked or not. Flowers grouped in pairs in long, branched clusters. Corolla about 2.5 cm long with a gaping mouth, generally a remarkable bright clear blue; summer to autumn.
