Hoya odorata Merr.

Erect non-twiner to 50 cm high, latex white. Leaf blade elliptic to obovate, leathery, flat, up to 6 cm long and 2.2 cm wide, green, silver flecking absent, hairless; margins entire, not recurved, same colour as rest of blade; venation penninerved, with 8 to 10 lateral veins; base cuneate; tip acuminate. Umbel positively geotropic, convex, of 4-16 flowers in loose ball. Corolla 20-23 mm wide, white; lobes oblong-ovate,10-12 mm long, 5-6 mm wide, weakly inflexed, shortly papillose. Corona pale-yellow.
