Hoya cumingiana Decne.

Erect, non-twining herb to 50 cm high, latex white. Leaf blade elliptic-oblong, leathery, flat, 1-3.5 cm long, 0.7-1.5 cm wide, green, silver flecking absent, hairless; margins entire, not recurved, same colour as rest of blade; venation penninerved, with 8 or 9 lateral veins; base cordate; tip acute to rounded. Umbel positively geotropic, convex, of 10-20 flowers in loose ball. Corolla 6-7 mm wide, yellow; lobes lanceolate-oblong, 4-5 mm long, 3.5-4.5 mm wide, strongly reflexed, hairless. Corona pink-red.
