Shrub to 2.5 m high, deciduous, perennial. Indumentum of simple hairs, but mostly hairless. Stipules laciniate. Leaves stalked, peltate; leaf stalks 10-180 mm long; blade 9-11-palmatipartite, 50-150 mm long, 70-170 mm wide; lobe tips narrowed; base cordate; margins irregularly toothed, without glands. Fruits ellipsoid, 18-22 mm long, 15-18 mm wide.
