Verticordia acerosa Lindl.

Erect shrub to 1 m tall. Leaves variable, lower leaves to 2 cm long, crowded, upper leaves opposite, broader and shorter. Flowers yellow to brownish; late spring to early summer. Floral tube 1.5-2 mm long, 10-ribbed. Sepals to 4.5 mm long, divided into 5-7 plumed lobes. Petals to 5 mm long, divided into 7-10 lobes, narrow. Sterile stamens fringed or deeply toothed. Ovules 2.
