Rosa sweginzowii Koehne

Open shrub to about 4 m tall. Prickles absent or numerous and 3-angled, combined with bristles. Leaflets 7-11, elliptic, to 5 cm long, hairless above, downy on veins below, teeth compound. Flowers few, single, bright pink; summer. Styles free, not protruding. Fruit red-orange, elongated, 2-3 cm long, bristly.
