Cluster Rose

Shrub mostly 1-2 m tall, with arching stems. Prickles absent or few paired at the nodes, occasionally with bristles. Leaflets 5-7, elliptic to ovate, hairless above, downy beneath. Flowers few together, single, pink to purple-pink; summer. Styles free, not protruding. Fruit about 1 cm wide, round to ovoid, red, orange or purplish, hairless.
