Leafy Rose

Shrub to 1 m tall with reddish stems. Prickles absent or small, narrow and straight, rarely with bristles. Leaves mostly 7-9, narrow, to 4-5 cm long, glossy above, hairy on midrib below, teeth small, simple. Flowers single, white or pink, fragrant; summer and autumn. Styles free, not protruding. Fruit 0.5-1 cm wide, roundish, red, bristly.
