Higan Cherry

Deciduous tree to 10 m tall. Leaves ovate-acuminate, to 8 cm long, margins simply serrate or shallowly doubly serrate. Flowers in clusters of 2-5, white to pink, to 3.5 cm wide, pedicels 2-2.5 cm long (longer in some cultivars). Fruit black, ovoid, 1 cm wide.

Prunus subhirtella 'Autumnalis'
