Erica ×darleyensis Bean

Darley Heath

(E. carnea x E. erigena) Bushy shrub to 50 cm or so tall. Leaves to 12 mm long. Flowers shortly tubular, generally only about 5 mm long, white to dark pink in winter to spring.

Grown in both pink and white forms.

Cultivars are occasionally offered including: 'Ada Collins' Flowers white; 'Arthur Johnson' Flowers lilac-pink in winter; 'Darley Dale' Flowers lilac-pink; 'Jack H. Brummage' Foliage yel­low in summer, golden in winter; 'Silberschmeltze' Flowers white in winter; 'White Perfection' Flowers white in winter.
