Mammillaria tayloriorum Glass & R.A.Foster

Solitary or eventually clustering, body globose or elongate, to 11 cm wide and 25 cm high. Tubercles prominent, conical. Axils at first woolly, later with a few bristles. Central spines 2-3(-5), 9 mm long, at first orange-brown, later white, tips brown. Radial spines 12, 9 mm long, at first orange-brown, later white, tips brown. Flowers lavender, 2.5 cm long and wide. Fruit red.
