Mammillaria microhelia Werderm.

Solitary, body elongate, to 6 cm wide and 25 cm high, without milky sap. Tubercles prominent. Axils at first woolly. Central spine 4, to 11 mm, reddish or yellowish brown, straight or curved, needle-like. Radial spines 30-50, 4-6 mm long, white to reddish-yellow. Flowers white, yellowish-green or pink, to 1.6 cm long and wide. Fruit whitish, greenish or pale pink.
