Mammillaria hutchisoniana (Gates) Boed.

Clustering, body cylindrical to over 10 cm tall. Axils without bristles. Central spines 4, lowest the longest and with dark tips. Radial spines 10-20 bristly, pale. Flowers pinkish or creamy, striped maroon outside. Fruit scarlet.
