Mammillaria geminispina Haw.

Freely clustering, body globular, to 8 cm wide or eventually elongate to 18 cm high with milky sap. Tubercles prominent, angular. Axils woolly and bristly. Central spines 2-4(-6) to 4 cm, whitish, tips brown. Radial spines 16-20, 5-7 mm long, whitish. Flowers yellowish with reddish central stripe, 15-19 mm long and wide. Fruit red.
