Mammillaria gaumeri (Britton & Rose) Orcutt

Solitary, eventually clustering, body globular, to 15 cm wide. Tubercles prominent, angled. Axils bare. Central spine solitary, to 10 mm long, brownish. Radial spines 10-12(-20), 5-7 mm long, whitish, tips brownish. Flowers creamy white to pinkish to 14 mm long and wide. Fruit crimson.
