Mammillaria eichlamii Quehl

Clustering, mounding, body elongate to 20 cm high, 8 cm wide. Tubercles prominent, conical, angular. Axils whitish or yellowish woolly. Areoles prominently yellowish woolly. Central spines 1-2), to 10 mm long, yellowish, tip reddish. Radial spines 7-8, 3-5 mm long, whitish, tips black. Flowers cream with a reddish central stripe, 2cm long, 1.2 cm wide. Fruit red. [M. voburnensis Scheer var. eichlamii (Quehl.) Repp.]
