Mammillaria boolii G.E.Linds.

Solitary, body globular 3 cm wide. Axils at first woolly. 1 yellowish-brown central spine to 15-20 mm, hooked, 20 stiff whitish radial spines 15 mm long. Flowers lavender or pink to 30 mm long and wide. Fruit orange.
