Mammillaria aurihamata Boed.

Solitary or clustering, body shortly cylindrical to 6 cm high. Axils with a few bristles only. 4 yellowish to golden central spines, 3 upper spines to 10 mm long, lower spine longer and hooked, 15-20 pale yellowish radial spines to 8 mm long. Flowers clustered around crown, pale to sulphur yellow internally, to 15 mm long. Fruit red.
