Egyptian Blue Lotus

Leaves wavy-edged with small purple blotches below. Flowers pale but resonant blue rising above the water and with 14-20 petals, opening in the morning only.

Tender Day Bloomer

Often featured in ancient Egyptian art together with the white night blooming N. lotus.
