Asplenium terrestre Brownsey

Rhizomes short and erect. Stalks to 15 cm or more long, brown at the base, green above, shiny and scaly. Blades divided 2-3 times, to about 45 cm long, 20 cm wide, stiff, upright with a few scales. Ultimate segments linear and undivided in upper frond. Sori more or less marginal, to about 7 mm long.

Will tolerate cool conditions.

Fronds finely divided, the secondary branches mostly distinctly stalked.
