Weeping Spleenwort

Rhizome short and thick; scales red-brown to black with long-pointed tips. Fronds pendent, to 1 m long, divided 1-2 times. Blade thick and leathery, not producing plantlets. Sori marginal and solitary on each ultimate segment.

Will tolerate cool conditions.

SA, Qld, NSW, Vic., Tas., NZ, Fiji.

Arching fronds with branches having numerous paired linear segments.
