Tree to c. 20 m tall in cultivation. Branches with branchlets irregularly spaced. New shoots yellowish. Leaves acutely pointed and curved, to 6 mm long, margins translucent. Cones yellow becoming brown, c. 2 cm wide when open.
Offered in the nursery trade for its botanical interest.
