Microsorum punctatum (L.) Copel.

Rhizome thick, to 1 cm wide; scales brown. Fronds simple, widest in the middle. Blade to 60 cm long, 6 cm wide. Stalk short or absent. Sori small, scattered in the upper half of the frond.

Can grow in cool areas.

Pacific, Asia, Africa.
