Highland Lace

Trunk slender, to about 15 cm wide and less than 3 m tall. Fronds mostly 0.5-1 m long with a dense covering of scales. Segments with margins strongly reflexed, the longest side branches no more than about 15 cm. Indusia absent.

Will tolerate cool conditions.

New Guinea.

Dense covering of scales on axes; fertile segments with the margins strongly reflexed to give a bead-like appearance.
