Rhizome creeping but erect at the tips. Blade pink at first becoing glossy dark green, narrowly triangular in outline, branches well spaced along the frond. Segments with rounded tips. Sori small. Indusia pink. Can grow in cool areas.

Recognition: Young fronds with strong pink colouration at first.
