Rect shrub to 2 m high. Leaves stalked; blade lanceolate to obovate, up to 110 mm long, 35 mm wide; tip long-pointed; base rounded to wedge-shaped; margins toothed with 40-50 short teeth per side of midrib; leaf stalks 2-5 mm long.
