Pseudosasa amabilis (McClure) Keng f. in Y.L.Keng

Culms mostly more than 3 m tall and with hairy sheaths, the nodes without white waxy bloom below cf. Pseudosasa. Branches mostly 1-3 per node. Leaves pale below and soft hairy towards the base, mostly to about 20 cm long and 2 cm wide but variable.
