Hesperantha coccinea (Backh. & Harv.) Goldblatt & J.C.Manning

Leaves to 45 cm long, persistent. Stem 30-90 cm tall with 3 bracts. Flowers 4-14, goblet-shaped, red, 4-5 cm wide; late summer to autumn. Perianth tube narrow, about 3 cm long; segments equal, elliptic, acute.Anthers grey. Style branches about 2 cm long, red. Syn. R. pauciflora Klatt.
