G. endressii × G. traversii
A hybrid that arises quite easily, even though G. endressii is from the Pyrenees and G. traversii from Chatham Island off New Zealand. The plants form spreading carpets that die back in winter. This particular clone has large, intense magenta flowers to 3 cm wide, with sharply toothed leaf divisions.
Raised early in the 20th century at Pritchard's Nursery, Riverslea, Hampshire, UK.
