Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Tom Thumb'

A dwarf, compact shrub to about 75 cm tall and wide. Leaves dark purple, glossy, wavy-edged, changing from pale green to red or purple and sometimes all 3 colours together. Like a dwarf version of 'Purpureum'. Originated c. 1960 in Stuart Bros' Nsy at Clinton in s Otago, New Zealand; selected from a batch of seedlings grown from p. tenuifolium 'Purpureum'.
