Pittosporum tenuifolium 'Stirling Gold'

Narrow shrub to 2 m or so tall,1 m wide. Leaves small, rounded, to 1 cm long, 8 mm wide, variegated with a central area of golden yellow, margins wavy. Young leaves also have a reddish midrib. Originated from Dawn Nurseries, Auckland, New Zealand, where it arose as a branch sport on p. tenuifolium 'James Stirling'. Similar plants with leaves white-variegated are available as 'Stirling Silver'.
