Shrub to 2.5 m tall and wide with dense foliage. Leaves soft, to about 5 cm or more, lobed, margins rolled under. Flower clusters terminal; autumn to spring. Flowers hairy, pink, fading to orange, style red. Probable hybrid, g. thelemanniana _ g. argyrophylla, or possibly g. olivacea.a chance seedling arising in 1981 on the property, 'Winpara', of Mrs k. Bartlett of Jervois, sa. 'Winpara Gold' is similar but has deep yellow flowers.
