A dense shrub to 1m tall. Leaves short,more or less linear, pointed. Flower clusters along the stem in winter and spring. Flowers cream, becoming black. Possible hybrid, g. baueri _ g. rosmarinifolia 'Nana', which arose as a chance seedling in the garden of John Evans.Nurseryman, John Rose, took cuttings in 1979, int.1981.
