Large shrub to over 5 m tall. Leaves to 30 cm long, deeply divided into linear lobes, hairy below. Flower clusters long, cylindrical, more or less year round. Flowers apricot with a darker style. Probable hybrid, g. banksii _ g. pteridifolia, obtained by Mrs c.j. Jerks, Taringa, Qld.
