Grevillea 'Crosbie Morrison'

Low shrub with branches often arching. Leaves grey, linear, to about 1.5 cm long with margins rolled under. Flowers terminal and axillary, spidery; winter to early summer. Flowers red with creamy white tips. A name chosen by the Beaumaris Tree Preservation Society to commemorate naturalist and author Philip Crosbie Morrison (1900-58). A hybrid, g. lanigera (Snowy River form) _ g. lavandulacea (Victor Harbour, sa, form). Cross performed by Bill Cane of Maffra, Vic, in the late 1940s.
