Homalanthus novo-guineensis (Warb.) Lauterb. & K.Schum.

Shrub or small tree to 10 m high. Leaf blade triangular-ovate, 40–270 mm long, 30–210 mm wide; tip acute; base cordate, rounded or abruptly narrowed. Inflorescence up to 250 mm long; bracts ovate-triangular, with well-developed flattened glands. Ovary glandular. Fruit bi-chambered, 7–9 mm long.
