Cattleya xanthina (Lindl.) Van den Berg.

Medium sized epiphyte. Pseudobulbs club shaped, to 25 cm long, ribbed. Leaves solitary, strap-shaped, to 30 cm long, to 6 cm wide. Flowers 2-6, to 8 cm wide, yellow or greenish; spring to summer. Sepals oblong. Petals oblong, slightly wider than sepals, margins wavy. Labellum obscurely 3-lobed, tubular at base, rounded at tip, margins wavy, white with purplish streaks and yellow throat.
