Phalaenopsis pulcherrima (Lindl.) J. J. Sm.

Small to medium sized epiphyte or epilith. Stem short, erect. Leaves to 15 cm long, to 3 cm wide. Inflorescences to 60 cm long. Flowers 3-20, 1-4 cm wide, pink to purplish; summer to autumn. Sepals elliptic to oblong. Petals obovate. Labellum side lobes red. Syn. Phalaenopsis pulcherrima (Lindl.) J.J. Sm., P. esmeralda Rchb. f.
