Field Garlic

Herb with ovoid bulbs. Leaves 2-4, terete, hollow, stem-sheathing, shorter than inflorescence. Inflorescence 25-90 cm, stem ridged, spathes 1-2-lobed, umbel loose. Flowers few to many, about 7 mm long, cup-shaped; summer. Tepals white tinged brown, pink or green. Stamens shorter than tepals to just longer than tepals.

Europe. Naturalised in NSW.
