Flowers single, petals semi-overlapping, to 16 cm wide, soft pink with a pronounced cherry-red eye, prolific. Foliage dense, sometimes with purplish brown tints. Habit bushy, 4-5 m tall.

Raised in Hawaii in the 1920s.
