Moraea fugacissima (L.f.) Goldblatt

Leaves linear, 3-8 cm long, 1-2.5 mm wide, channelled, becoming cylindrical near tip. Flowers bell-shaped, pale yellow, fragrant; early spring. Perianth tube 12-24 mm long; segments obovate, obtuse, 15-20 mm long, the outer ones sometimes marked with purple. Stigmas fringed, far exceeding the spreading anthers.
