Luzula nivea (L.) D C.

Plant to about 50 cm tall with long stolons. Basal leaves 3-4 mm wide, flat. Stem leaves 15 cm or so long. Inflorescence of about 10-20 flower clusters. Perianth segments whitish, unequal, pointed. Fruit capsule round, about 2 mm wide, about half as long as the perianth.

Southern Europe

Grows naturally in montane woodland.
