Ginger Lily

Plant 2-3 m tall. Leaves lanceolate, tip long-pointed, to about 40 cm long, 15 cm wide. Flower cluster about 25-35 cm long, to 20 cm wide, the bracts narrow and not tiling over one-another, each with 1-2 flowers. Flowers yellow with yellow lips, highly fragrant; summer. Filament bright red.

Naturalised in moist habitats Queensland and New South Wales.
