Plant 2-4 m tall. Leaf blades to about 0.5 m long, 12 cm wide. Flower clusters pendulous. Flowers white, suffused with purple, the yellow wrinkled lip coloured with red and brown, fragrant. [A. speciosa (Wendl.) K. Schum.]
